Hi! My name is Chef Blu.

I am the creator and owner of House Pepper. Thanks for checking us out. I have been a professional chef for the last 7 years, but I've been cooking my whole life. My culinary training comes from my experiences, including studying flavor and industry giants (wishing for more people like me) and growing up with great home cooks. I have worked in almost every part of a kitchen, from cleaning dishes to running an event. I have learned a lot, and I hope to incorporate my own company and into teaching others. Ever since I can remember, I've wanted to cook and to own a restaurant. For me, cooking is about so much more than food. A great meal brings people together, and it's a conversation starter when one is at a loss for words. As someone that suffers from social anxiety, through cooking, I can express myself and show love. Cooking is a language without words for me. Setting the table and preparing a meal for someone conveys a message. It's an art that gives meaning. House Pepper is greater self-expression. Seeing the joy on people's faces when they experience my cooking or my seasoning is what keeps me cooking.
